Founded in 2003, Duta Klasik Sdn Bhd is a Bumiputera-owned mechanical and electrical contractor headquartered in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, with branch offices in Kemaman, Labuan & Miri. Our founder, Dato’ Rosdin bin Dato’ Mohd  Yusup (BSc Petroleum Engineering, UTM ’88), has led the company since its inception, bringing decades of upstream oil & gas expertise.

In 2008, we pioneered the Positive Pressure Welding Enclosure (PPWE)—affectionately known as the “Habitat”—and earned both ISO 9001:2008 (from DNV) and SIRIM-QAS certifications. Since then, our workforce has grown to 200+ professionals, including over 50 engineers, enabling us to provide turnkey solutions across Malaysia. We also collaborate with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in joint research to advance PPWE and other oil & gas technologies, cementing our role as an innovation-driven contractor.
